it shows a clear preference for areas timberline developed open and sparse. This bird is associated with forests of oaks, pines, and juniper and, to a lesser extent, oak and tree crops (olive, orange, etc.). It is distributed from sea level to 1,500 meters, although little is above 1,000 meters.

Common in Mediterranean environments, specifically in Lleida and in some places its plains and Pre-Pyrenees.
