Throughout the year, the species is associated with semi-arid areas, moors and upland crops exten-sive, regardless of cold or heat. Supports better than Ganga slightly steep terrain and the presence of scattered trees and shrubs; however, also opted for long-term fallows, wastelands and pastures dry and separates from the bushes and planted a certain height. Regarding the altitude, occu-pa from sea level to 1,300 meters. It requires the presence of accessible and clarified troughs near breeding areas.
