The Lesser kestrel is always installed in open areas: crops, pastures, steppe areas or operating environment traditional and has some very intensive environmental diversity; although you need to have isolated buildings, towns and cities set up their colonies reproduction. In regions wintering species also choose open places, such as savannas and grasslands.

Raptor migratory maintaining its unique natural population in urban concrete plain of Lleida, with postnuptial concentrations that can exceed 200 individuals.
